The Legend of Youngs Corner VI

PART VI
A Whole New Adventure

30 years ago, my Aunt found 3 cabins inhabited by an old witch lady with a shotgun. Ever since that day, my family has been haunted by the curses of Youngs Corner. Not a year after my Aunt discovered the cabins, my Mother was visited by a ghost. Appearing as an old blue man in the blue bedroom where my Mother and her sisters slept. That house still stands and is where my Grandparents live, up the road from Youngs Corner. In my generation, we have the strange sightings of the old woman. She has returned. One day while walking along the edge of the forest with her golden retriever, now over 30 years old, the old woman suddenly appeared before our glass door and stared at my Mother and I with a faint smile. Some years ago, I discovered a small graveyard only feet from our house. The only gravestone there belonged to little Christopher who died in 1864. And during that winter, while on a hiking trip through the woods, my family and I caught a glimpse of the cabins. It was the first time anyone of us had ever seen them, including my Mother, whose sister first found them 24 years before.

Now we come to the beginning of a whole new adventure, all new stories, and all new mysteries. Forget what you’ve thought before, forget everything that once rattled your nerves, because the story I’m about to tell you will shake you beyond your imagination. The story continues five years after my first sighting of the cabins; I’m all grown up and the time for fear is over. I’m a senior in high school and my closest friends and I are about to take a journey where our hearts never wanted us to go- to the very cabins themselves to face the old woman once and for all…
